A message in a bottle is a great way to add the ultimate surprise for someone special. Maybe you are proposing for marriage, or celebrating an anniversary, birthday or even saying Sorry. This is how it works! Once you have chosen and paid for this option, you will be sending us an email with your special message, usually 1 or 2 paragraphs or even a sentence may work for you. A short poem, lyrics to a special song or just a heartfelt expression. Once we receive your message, great care is taken to prepare it on special paper and then it is inserted in an empty wine bottle and corked. Your gondolier will have the bottle hidden away out of sight and when the gondola arrives in a private area of the Charles River, he will discreetly release the bottle into the water. Your skilled gondolier will then maneuver the gondola so that the bottle message floats alongside the person that you are trying to surprise. If assistance is necessary plucking the bottle from the water, your gondolier is there to help. Once the bottle is retrieved you are on your own!
